Chanel Website Analysis
Navigational features - roll over buttons which allow users to go from one page to another. These are displayed clearly at the bottom of the webpage and are used for ease of user navigation throughout. Each internal link has a meaningful name which be related to the contents of what will appear on the specific page. This allows users to find pages of interest to them quickly. (Helps with promotion of goods.)
Flash elements - Flash animation/ video - All pictures used within this video contains the Chanel logo clearly. However, the video makes the webpage run slower, which could deter people from going on there. As this contains the Chanel logo, it gives a clue as to what the contents of the rest of the webpage will contain. It also shows a range of products that are on offer etc. (Helps with promotion of goods.) The pictures are of high quality, which could reflect the high quality of the products that they offer.

Interactive features - Navigation, such as scrolling through the page using a drag and drop feature. Users can also sign up to the Chanel newsletter through the website.
External web links - There is an external link to 'Chanel Videos' that takes the user to YouTube.
Logo - Bold, stands out and grabs the users attention. This is consistent throughout, as the Chanel logo is a very recognizable logo.
Colour scheme - Understated and minimalistic colour scheme. Simplistic. This emphasizes the high quality and classy feel of the Chanel brand.
